How to Access Study Settings

While inside a Recollective Study, study administrators will see an Admin button on the left-hand side of the navigation bar. The Study Admin menu allows Analysts and Moderators to control and configure important Study Settings.

From the Study Settings area, Admins can change the Study State or access a list of ten additional settings areas: 

  • Appearance
    • The Appearance section of Study Settings allows you to adjust the branding of a Study. Since each Study is unique from one another, this includes the ability to adjust the Study name, URL slug, color theme, chart colors and Study logo.
  • Configuration
    • The Configuration section of Study Settings allows you to control elements of the Study visible to participants and Administrators such as Study Tabs and alter settings affecting Discussions. 
  • Language
    • The Language section of Study Settings allows you to reference and manage the configured Study Languages, including those utilized for Automatic Translations
  • Study Objectives
    • The Study Objectives section of the Study Settings allows Administrators to outline the goals of a study by providing additional information on the Study Objectives, Research Area, and Target Industry. The inputs assists in generating more meaningful outputs by Recollective AI
  • Content Checks
    • To encourage authentic answers and deter participants from using generative AI (ChatGPT) to answer questions, Admins can enable Content Checks to restrict participants from pasting external content on Task responses and Discussion contributions.
  • Profile Fields
    • The Profile Fields section of Study Settings allows you to control which profile fields appear in a study and its exports.
  • Privacy
    • The Privacy section of Study Settings contains all of the privacy options within the Study for both participants and Client accounts, including controlling access to participant profiles and how users will be identified to one another and other user roles. 
  • Notifications
    • The Notifications section of Study Settings lets you control which Admins receive email notifications for different events in a Study.
  • Points
    • The Points section of Study Settings allows you to enable gamification features for your Study. This includes the tracking of points for important actions in the Study and optional awarding of point-level badges.
  • Permissions
    • The Permissions section of Study Settings allows you to enable additional permissions for Client-level Administrators, including the ability to observe Live Activities from the Backroom, or utilize in-platform analysis tools. 

The following Options will also be available:

  • Setup Guide: Relaunch the informational Setup Guide that appeared on your first visit
  • Reschedule Activities: Bulk edit the Start Date of your Activities without losing the structure
  • Copy Study (only visible to Analysts)
  • Delete Study (only visible to Analysts)
