Study Settings: Content Checks

To encourage authentic answers and deter participants from using generative AI (ChatGPT) to answer questions, Admins can restrict participants from pasting external content on Task responses.

The Content Checks section of Study Settings allows Admins to enable Block Pasting for all Task responses by default by toggling the Task responses switch. It is always possible to override the default when configuring an individual Task.

Note: When block pasting is enabled, participants cannot paste copied content within a text response template of any Task response. Block pasting does not impact Administrators unless they are previewing an Activity or Task.

Admins can also enable block pasting when configuring an individual task under the Advanced options.
