Introduction to Participants

A person that is in a Study, but is not an administrator, is deemed a participant of that Study. Every participant is also a Panelist of the site.

Managing a participant relates to managing their membership to the Study more than it has to do with managing an account.

People are most often added to Studies as participants via a bulk import or through a registration link. You can also assign existing Panelists to a Study.

Within a Study, participants can easily be managed via the Participant Directory. You can view active participants in the study, resend invitations, check the Leaderboard, review screened applicants, and delete contributions from inactive participants. Most operations can be performed for a single participant or in bulk.
