Sorting and Ordering Topics

Discussion Topics can be sorted a variety of ways, including a manual sort. Topics can also be featured by selecting the star icon that appears next to the Topic name in the list (or by using the dedicated setting option from the Topic setup page).

Sorting Topics

Everyone in a Study is permitted to re-sort the Topic list using the sorting control found in the top right-hand side of the Discussions page, as shown below.

Featured Topics (those with a star next to their name) will always appear together at the top of the list before all other Topics are listed based on the sorting selection.

Analysts and Moderators can change the default sort order for everyone by picking a new sort order option and then selecting Save as default for participants.

Manually Ordering Topics

Analysts and Moderators are also able to manually sort the Topic list.

  1. Pick Manual from the sorting menu
  2. Select Change Order 
  3. Drag and drop the Topics into the desired order
  4. Press Done Sorting to save your changes
  5. Select Save as default for participants to ensure the new order is the default for returning participants
