How Clients Log In to Recollective
This article explains the login experience for Clients, detailing what to expect when accessing Recollective for the first time and during subsequent visits.
The Client Login Experience
Provided that a custom sending address has not been configured, Clients will receive an email invitation from no-reply@recollective.email (formerly no-reply@recollective.com as of March 6th, 2024).
To access the platform, Clients will need to click the Login button labeled 'Accept Invitation' on this email invitation.
The First Login
Clicking the Login button will lead each Client to the Account Registration page. At this point, Clients will be asked to complete several fields:
- Enter your First name.
- Enter your Last name.
- Enter your Email address.
- Enter your Username.
- Upload a Profile photo (optional).
- Create a Password.
- Review and accept any Agreements enabled.
Note: Agreements will display to all users by default, but can be customized to exclude Clients if required.
Subsequent Logins
Clients can log in with their email address or username and password at any point via the login page.
If automatic login links are enabled within the site settings, Clients can access the site by clicking the links in any email notifications sent to their inbox via the platform. These links will automatically bring Clients to the login page where they will be prompted to send a verification code to their email address. Once received and the code is entered on Recollective's login page, Clients will be granted access to the site.
If Clients would rather log in using their email address or username and password, they can simply click the Login button and enter their credentials when prompted.
