How to Disable Recollective AI

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you disable Recollective AI, you cannot re-enable it without contacting support.

While Recollective AI can be a useful tool for researchers, we understand our customers may have unique security needs or specific preferences. Analysts can manually opt out of our Generative AI features anytime in Site Administration. Once Generative AI has been disabled, all features related to Recollective AI will be inaccessible site-wide.

“Generative AI” in this context refers to artificial intelligence capabilities that produce new content, such as summaries, insights, or AI-moderated conversations. Opting out of generative AI disables these content-creation functions but does not affect tools like transcription or translation, which transform rather than generate data.

📍 Go to Site Administration > Settings

Click Recollective AI
In the modal that appears, toggle off Generative AI Features
Click Disable to confirm the change

Once Generative AI has been disabled on a site, Analysts cannot enable it again without assistance from our support team. To re-enable Recollective AI or to disable Automatic Translations, please contact support.
