Every Recollective site and study supports multiple Home pages with customizable cards. Home pages can be limited to select user roles, making them ideal for hosting internal project files, research guides, bulk import templates, or video stimulus for live meeting screen shares.
Required Permissions:
Study-level Home pages: Analysts and Moderators
Site-level Home pages: Analysts only
Creating an Admin-only Study Home page
Follow these steps to create a hidden Home page at the study level and upload media files:
Open the relevant Study in Recollective and select Study Admin Menu > Manage Pages.
Click + Add Page.
Enter a title for the page (e.g., Outdoor Journey Focus Groups - Video Stimulus).
Under the Participant Access header, change the visibility option to None. (Note: Setting visibility to None hides the page from study participants and restricts access exclusively to Admins).
Click Save. The new page will default to an Unpublished state.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the page name, then select Edit Page.
Click + Add Card.
Select the desired Card Type (Video, Photo, or File) and upload your file.
Repeat step 8 for any additional cards, then click Publish to save your changes.
Expected outcome: Your files are hosted online and accessible exclusively to all Admins in the study.
Accessing hidden Home pages
Admins can access a hidden Home page at any time from the Recollective Home tab:
Navigate to the Home tab.
Click on the dropdown arrow to open the page selector menu.
Select the relevant page title.
